Sox 4, Toronto 2

AJ Burnett signed a $55 million, 5-year deal with the Blue Jays this offseason. Paul Konerko signed a $60 million, 5-year deal with the White Sox this offseason. I guess Paulie is worth more than AJ. Two two-out, two-runs bombs for Paulie today netted him a +3.33 ERV and easy Player of the Game honors. Indeed, as bad as Brian Anderson was yesterday, that's how good Paulie was today. Every other White Sox was in negative ERV territory, but good ol' Paulie was enough to pull the Sox through.

It's nice to get your butt kicked one day and be able to have Mark Buehrle on the hill to shut down the opposition the next day, isn't it?

Note to Bobby Jenks: Your fastball is still your best pitch.

Here's your ERV boxscore / spreadsheet:
